It was danced in all the provinces, possibly before 1820, in general even the first years of our century. At the moment it is still danced in some regions of the north, center and west, as it belongs to the "alive folklore". It was known with other names, in some provinces it was called "Bailecito" this name still lasts in some regions.

Choreography:

A couple. Initial position: straight, faced, giving the gentleman the left to the audience (first placement). It is danced with finger snaps. The step is quick.

First: introduction 8 beats.

  1. Whole Turn: with finger snaps.
  2. Turn: with finger snaps.
  3. Tap-dancing and strut: the lady performs two circular struts of 4 steps each one.
  4. Half turn: with finger snaps.
  5. Tap-dancing and strut: the lady makes a circular strut of eight steps. The gentleman tap-dances with different steps.
  6. Final Turn: with finger snaps and coronation.

Second: it is equal to the first,but they begin in the opposite places.
